Behind the Curtain

About the Studio

Every studio is a person before it's a name. Here's the one behind this one.

The Ghostwriter

Ghostwritten Studios is the banner I release my professional work under — games, tools, and interactive experiences designed and built end to end.

I care as much about how something feels to use as what it does. Interfaces, motion, and atmosphere aren't decoration — they're half the product. That philosophy runs through everything on this site, including the site itself.

EDMC TechCheck

A student-facing system requirements checker built for EDMC's online divisions and deployed across the student portals of The Art Institutes, South University Online, Argosy University, and Brown Mackie College. It detected each student's operating system, browser, and plug-in versions against their program's requirements — flagging anything out of date with direct update links, alongside per-program hardware and software requirement lookups.

Build Phase 311 reporting system with Google Maps interface
2013

Codename: Build Phase

A full 311 reporting and management system, born at Google CodeFest and built with four fellow EDMC teammates. Residents snapped a photo of an issue from the Android or iOS app, which geotagged the location and reported it straight to 311 — where workers assigned, tracked, and managed every report from a Google Maps–driven management system.
